Agreement to Terms

By hiring NorthWay Muskegon Concrete for concrete services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern our working relationship and the services we provide. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with our services.

Services Provided

We provide professional concrete contracting services in Muskegon, MI and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Concrete driveways, patios, and walkways
• Stamped and decorative concrete installations
• Concrete slabs and flatwork
• Foundations and footings
• Concrete repair and restoration
• Retaining walls and concrete masonry

Each project begins with a consultation and written estimate. We will clearly outline the scope of work, materials to be used, timeline, and total cost before starting any project.

Quotes and Estimates

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Prices are based on current material costs and may be adjusted if material prices change significantly. We will notify you of any price changes before beginning work. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from our initial assessment or if you request changes to the project scope.

Payment Terms

Our standard payment structure is as follows:

• A deposit may be required before work begins
• Progress payments may be requested for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon project completion and your approval

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your written contract. Late payments may incur additional fees.

Project Timeline

We provide estimated completion dates for all projects. While we work diligently to meet these timelines, factors beyond our control may cause delays, including weather conditions, material availability, or unforeseen site conditions. We will keep you informed of any schedule changes and work to minimize delays.

Permits and Inspections

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will provide guidance on permit requirements and can assist with the permit process if needed. All work will be performed to meet local building codes and regulations.

Site Preparation and Access

You agree to provide clear access to the work area and ensure that utilities are marked before we begin excavation. Any existing structures, landscaping, or items in the work area should be removed unless we have agreed to handle this as part of our services. You are responsible for protecting any items you do not want damaged during construction.

Warranty

We warranty our workmanship against defects for one year from the date of project completion. This warranty covers issues resulting from our installation but does not cover damage from settling, tree roots, freeze-thaw cycles beyond normal tolerances, or improper maintenance. Concrete naturally develops minor surface cracks, which are not covered under warranty. We will address any legitimate workmanship issues promptly.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the contract price of your project. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities that were not properly marked, damage to existing structures not caused by our negligence, or consequential damages beyond our direct control.

Changes and Cancellations

If you wish to make changes to your project after work has begun, we will provide a written estimate for the additional work. Project cancellations must be made in writing. If work has already started, you will be responsible for payment for work completed and materials purchased.
